General Insect Pest and Rodent Management

In layman’s terms, PEST is "An Unwanted Guest" sharing the facilities and resources of the host without consent & at times causing economical, medical, aesthetical damage and nuisance besides social embarrassment. A pest therefore has to be removed at the earliest with least effect on the host and its environment.

  • Common major Insect Pests are Mosquitoes, Housefly, Cockroaches, Ants, Ectoparasites (Fleas, Ticks, Mites, Bedbugs etc.), Fabric pests (Clothes Moths, Carpet beetles etc.), Spiders and Occasional Invaders (Centipedes, Millipedes, Crickets, Slugs, Snails, Silverfish, etc.)
  • Rodents (Rats & Mice) Management:

Rats and Mice attack our food while it is in farm fields and livestock facilities; during its processing, storage and transport; and while it is in supermarkets, restaurants and homes. They also spoil tons of food by contaminating it with their urine, feces and fur.

In our buildings, rodents damage doors, floors, ceilings and walls as a result of their burrowing and gnawing activity. They also regularly gnaw on various utility pipes and electrical wiring resulting into explosions, indoor flooding, fires, equipment malfunctions and power shortages.

In today’s high-tech production facilities, rodents are capable of abruptly causing sizeable production loss due to shutdowns of complex computer systems when they gnaw, nest or excrete wastes inside computers and other highly sensitive equipments.

In addition to direct economic losses, they have been responsible for the spread of many diseases to people and domesticated animals.

They cause irritancy to stabled animals which results into reduction of meat, milk and egg production.

Rodents have a highly developed sense of touch, sense of taste and smell or odor. They are excellent swimmers and climbers. Rodents can also squeeze through very small openings. In view of these physical abilities and senses of rodents, the control measures require a great deal of expertise and experience.

Our product Temper-Resistance Box, Bait-A-Rat is designed to significantly decrease the contact between non target animals and bait.

Baiting in temper-resistance box, Bait-A-Rat makes a good sense for several reasons, like:

  • It helps reduce contact between people, pets, wildlife etc. and Rodenticide bait which can be hazardous to them.
  • Keeps baits attractive to rodents by protecting the bait from dirt, dust, moisture etc.
  • Encourages rodents to feed on baits, because the boxes provide a dark, enclosed, protected place for rodents to feed.
  • Decreases the chances of accidental spillage of the bait.
  • Allows the Pest Management Specialist to place and keep baits in locations with rainy weather and other adverse conditions.
  • Allows the Pest Management Specialist to monitor areas of highest rodent activity via the amount of feeding from the bait boxes.
  • Miscellaneous Animal pests like Snakes, House or wall Lizards are also unwanted pests.
House or Wall Lizard Management:

House or wall Lizard is not an INSECT. It is cold blooded vertebrate.
